General design is not as intuitive as Spark or Apple Mail - far too much functionality visible all over the place, e.g. Sending an email with bold/italic/sized text results in it not displaying correctly in Airmail itself (though other apps display it correctly)! Signature is non-HTML (i.e. I got this primarily for HTML composing and for inbox triage. Summary: Constant nagging for subscription payment even after paying for the app makes it unusable, HTML composing OK, HTML email display is poor, basic non-HTML signature, lots of good functionality but it all feels like a car crash in terms of design.
